Aurora is a Hanse 418 build 2018/2019. She's a beautiful yacht, easy to handle and is a great home away from home no matter if you are a family or a group friends. The large window in the hull together with the skylights makes the light inside beautiful and this was one of the features that we fell for with the yacht. The layout is really made to maximise the space in both the cabins and the saloon, lots of space to move around.
We chose the layout with three double cabins and one head, with the possibility to convert the sofas in the saloon into one double and one single bed. The master bedroom in the front is nice and spacious and have a lot of storage room with cabinets on each side and drawers under the bed. The two aft cabins are also equipped with a cabinet in each and additional cabinet space. All beds have private reading lights.
The saloon is spacious and easily seats six adults around the table without sitting feeling you are sitting on top of each other, and the galley is located so you easily have a view over the whole saloon.
In the video below from Hanse you get a full tour of the boat tand tall the design features of the 418.

Aurora is a very easy boat to sail. She has a self-tacking jib and we chose the in-mast furling system, which makes her a joy to sail and easy if you are short on hands. When manoeuvring in a marina, docking or mooring in a natural harbour the retractable bow-thruster makes it easy to manoeuvre.
The yacht is equipped with 2 B&G Triton² multifunction displays in cockpit, incl. transducer (wind/speed/depth/temperature), and we chose the option with the B&G Zeus³ 12" chart plotter incorporated in the cockpit table, B&G VHF V50 at chart table, incl. wireless remote handset H50, B&G Autopilot with Triton² control unit and Precision 9 compass.
And of course for charter Aurora is with all safety equipment needed; safety harness, life jackets for 9 adults and 1 kid, flares, fog horn, emergency ladder, life line and horseshoe buoy.
